Our 2011 Board Meetings are scheduled for March 8, June 7, and September 13.  Our Annual membership meeting will be on November 29.

A summary of our March 8 Board Meeting:

Some homeowners have not removed vegetation debris from the recent winter freeze that we experienced this past winter.  Also with spring coming the weeds in the driveway pavers and shrubbery beds are starting to bloom and need to be treated with weed killer.  Bill Loeser personally used a tree service to remove a couple of stumps and found them to be very efficient and reasonable.  The name of the company was, “Neon Tree Service” telephones 321-777-4798 and 321-951-8732.  He was satisfied with their service and clean up.

Garage Sale:  The HOA would like to suggest dates for community garage sales and we plan on having one in May and one more in the fall.  We are trying to coordinate dates so stay tuned as more info will be coming on this event.

Social block party:  We had a very successful block party at the park across from Templeton last year and we are planning another event so new neighbors and old neighbors can meet and we will be discussing subjects involving safety and security of our housing areas.  More info will be coming on that as well so stay tuned.

Dog Owners:  Please keep your dogs on their leaches at all times and clean up the dog poop.  Be respectful to your neighbors and do not allow your pets and their debris to become a nuisance to your neighbors.

We continue to build our community email addresses, so as new neighbors move in, please ask them to share their email addresses with us so that we can expand our reach to provide safety and security concerns to them at minimal costs to the HOA.

One of our attendees provided information on a new insect resistant mulch for your shrub beds.  The name of the Mulch is “Melaleuca” and can be found at website: WWW.Naturewise.com for more information.

Foreclosures continue to be a concern in this economy.  If you have a residence near you that you notice is falling into disrepair, please notify one of the HOA members so action can be initiated.

Our community website for businesses owned by folks living in our community still has space for free advertising, so if you want your advertisement on the website, let one of the HOA board members know so we can get it posted and allow neighbors to help neighbors.  Deckaire recently posted their advertisement on our website.
